French Daily Study Privacy Policy

French Daily Study (“the app”) is developed by Neobile LLC. This policy explains what happens to data when you use the app.

The short version

French Daily Study does not collect your data. There is no account, no analytics service, no advertising, no tracking, and the app makes no network requests of its own. Your learning history stays on your device. The only online interaction is Apple’s own App Store purchase system.

What stays on your device

Learning data: which words you have seen, your Again/Good/Easy answers, review schedules, Listen & Link results, saved words and settings are stored in the app’s private storage on your device, protected by iOS data protection.
Widgets: the Lock Screen and Home Screen widgets read the same local data through an App Group container that only this app and its widgets can access.
Audio: French is spoken on your device by the iOS French voice or from audio files bundled with the app. The app does not use the microphone and records nothing.
You control every export: a JSON export of your learning data is created only when you ask for one, and leaves the device only through the iOS share sheet you choose.

Reminders

The optional daily reminder uses Apple’s local notification system and is scheduled entirely on your device, only after you turn it on. No reminder content is sent to any server.

Purchases

Optional upgrades are processed entirely by Apple through your Apple Account. French Daily Study never sees your payment details. Subscriptions can be managed or cancelled in your App Store account settings. A purchase unlocks only this app.

What French Daily Study never does

No accounts, no sign-in, no cloud sync.
No analytics or advertising SDKs, no identifiers, no tracking across apps.
No access to contacts, location, microphone, camera or photos.
No sale or sharing of data with anyone, because none is collected.

Children

The app is intended for adult and teenage learners and is not directed at children under 13. It collects no personal information from anyone.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will be posted at this address with a new date.
