This Privacy Policy explains how Neobile LLC ("we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and protects information when you use the Smart Tutor — CogAT Test Prep mobile application (the "App"). The App is a study tool that helps parents and guardians prepare children for cognitive-ability practice. By using the App, you agree to the practices described below.

Who the App is for

The App is intended to be set up and used by a parent, guardian, or other adult (18 years of age or older). Accounts are created and managed by adults. The App is not directed to children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children.

Information we collect

• Account information. When you create an account, we collect your email address. If you sign in with Apple or Google, we receive a unique account identifier and, depending on your choices, your name and email address.
• Practice activity. We store the practice data you generate in the App — for example, the grade level and category practiced, the number of questions attempted, which questions were answered, your answers, and scores. This is used to show progress and parent reports.
• Subscription status. If you purchase a subscription, Apple processes the payment. We receive and store your subscription status (such as active or expired) and related identifiers from Apple in order to unlock premium features. We do not receive or store your full payment card details.
• Limited technical data. Our sign-in and infrastructure providers may process limited technical information (such as device or diagnostic data) needed to operate and secure the service.

How we use information

• To provide and operate the App, including signing you in and syncing your data across your devices.
• To generate progress tracking and parent reports.
• To manage subscriptions and unlock premium features.
• To maintain the security and reliability of the service and to respond to support requests.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.

Service providers

We rely on a small number of trusted third parties to operate the App. They process information only as needed to provide their services:

• Google Firebase — account authentication (email, Apple, and Google sign-in).
• Apple — in-app purchases and subscription management.
• Vercel — application/server hosting.
• Neon — database hosting for your account and practice data.

These providers maintain their own privacy policies governing how they handle data.

Children's privacy

The App is designed for use by parents and guardians, not for direct use by children to create accounts or submit personal information. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

Data retention and your choices

We keep your account and practice data for as long as your account is active. You can delete your account at any time from within the App (Profile → Delete account). Deleting your account permanently removes your account record, practice progress, and subscription record from our servers. Note that this does not cancel an active subscription — manage or cancel subscriptions in your Apple ID settings — and does not remove information held by Apple regarding past purchases.

Data security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

International users

We operate the App from the United States. If you use the App from another country, your information may be processed and stored in the United States or other locations where our service providers operate.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
