My Mood Mosaic is designed to be private by default. This policy explains what the app does and does not do with your information.
My Mood Mosaic does not collect your data. There are no accounts, no servers, no analytics, and no third-party tracking. Everything you record stays on your device.
The moods, notes, emotions, activities, habits, and habit completions you enter are stored locally on your device using Apple's on-device database (SwiftData). This information is used only to power the app's features — your mosaic, calendar, statistics, streaks, and insights.
If iCloud sync is enabled in a future version, your data may be synchronized through your own private iCloud account so it stays consistent across your devices. This uses Apple's iCloud infrastructure under your Apple Account; the developer cannot access it and does not receive a copy.
Weekly and monthly insights are generated on your device. On supported devices (Apple Intelligence / iOS 26), they use Apple's on-device foundation models; on other devices, a built-in templated summary is used. In both cases your entries are not sent off the device to produce an insight.
If you enable reminders, the app schedules local notifications on your device. No notification content is sent to any server.
You can export your own data (CSV or JSON) from Settings. Exported files are created on your device and shared only where you choose to send them via the system share sheet.
In-app purchases are handled by Apple through the App Store/StoreKit. The developer does not receive your payment details. Purchase status is validated on-device via StoreKit.
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information. Because we don't collect it, there is nothing for us to sell or share.
The app does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children.
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this page.
