SubSnap Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 23, 2026
SubSnap ("the app") is developed by Neobile LLC. This policy explains what happens to your
data when you use SubSnap.
The short version
SubSnap does not have a server. We cannot see your data, because it never leaves
your device (or your own private iCloud account). There is no account, no sign-up, and no
analytics or advertising SDK in the app.
What data SubSnap stores, and where
- Subscription entries you add (name, price, billing date, category, notes)
are stored in a local database on your device, using Apple's SwiftData framework.
- iCloud sync (optional, on by default if iCloud is enabled on your device):
the same data is synced via Apple's CloudKit to your own private iCloud account,
so it appears on your other devices. This sync is between your devices and your iCloud account
only — the developer has no access to it, the same way Apple Notes or Reminders sync your data.
- Screenshot import: when you choose a screenshot to import a subscription, the
image is processed entirely on your device using Apple's Vision framework
(on-device text recognition). The image and its text are never uploaded anywhere, and the app does
not request access to your photo library — you pick a single image through the system's
built-in picker, which never shares your other photos with the app.
- Notifications: renewal reminders are scheduled locally on your device using
Apple's notification framework. No reminder content is sent to any server.
- Purchases: if you buy SubSnap Pro, the transaction is handled entirely by
Apple's StoreKit/App Store. SubSnap only learns whether you currently have an active purchase
— it never sees your payment details, which are handled solely by Apple.
What SubSnap does NOT do
- No account or sign-up of any kind.
- No analytics, crash reporting, or advertising SDKs.
- No tracking across apps or websites.
- No data is sold, rented, or shared with third parties.
- No network requests of any kind beyond Apple's own iCloud sync and App Store purchase APIs.
Your control over your data
- You can delete any subscription entry at any time inside the app; deleting it removes it from
your device and, if iCloud sync is on, from your iCloud data as well.
- Deleting the app removes all locally stored data. If you used iCloud sync, you can also remove
SubSnap's data from iCloud via Settings → [your name] → iCloud → Manage Storage on
your device.
- Turning off iCloud for SubSnap (Settings → [your name] → iCloud → Apps Using
iCloud) stops sync; your data remains only on that device.
Children's privacy
SubSnap is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect any data from anyone,
including children, because it does not collect data at all.
