AI4Watch Privacy Policy

AI4Watch sends the text of the question you choose to ask, and a few technical details needed to answer it, to get an AI answer. There is no account, no advertising, no analytics SDK and no tracking across apps or websites.

What is sent when you ask

The text of your question — dictated, written with your finger or typed. Apple handles dictation and gives the app text; audio is never sent to Neobile or to the AI service.
If you use a Quick Ask, its instruction (for example “Explain this simply”), including the instruction of a Quick Ask you wrote yourself.
If you ask a follow-up or tap Tell me more, the recent turns of that same topic, so the answer has context. Nothing from any other topic is included.
The language the app is set to, so that a very short question can be answered in the right language.
Your watch’s local date and the number of answers you have had today. They are used only to apply the daily answer limit.
A random installation identifier, used to apply rate limits and prevent abuse. It is not an account, contains nothing about you or your watch, and is replaced by a new one if you reinstall the app.
If you subscribe to AI4Watch Pro: the purchase record that Apple signs for that subscription. The server checks Apple’s signature to confirm the subscription and then discards the record. It is never stored or written to a log.
The app version and the platform (watchOS).

Please do not put passwords, health or financial details, or other sensitive personal information in a question.

Who receives it

The request travels over an encrypted connection to a small server operated by Neobile LLC and hosted on Vercel. That server forwards your question to Groq, an AI inference service, and returns the answer to your watch. As with any internet request, the server and its hosting provider see the IP address the request comes from; it is used for rate limiting and security and is not stored with your questions.

Your data is not sold, rented or shared for advertising, and it is never used for tracking.

Storage and retention

The Neobile server does not write your questions or the answers to a database or to its logs. It holds them in memory only for as long as the request takes. Its logs record technical events only: the time, the kind of request, the AI model used, how long it took and error codes. The counters behind the daily limit and the rate limits are kept in memory, keyed by the random installation identifier, and expire on their own.

Groq states that it does not retain inference data by default, and that inputs and outputs may be logged temporarily for system reliability or to investigate abuse, under Groq’s current data policy. Because the text of your question leaves the device, AI4Watch declares User Content – App Functionality on its App Store privacy label: not linked to your identity and never used for tracking.

What stays on your Apple Watch

Your history, your saved answers, the Quick Asks you create, your voice and language settings and the app’s own usage counters are stored on the watch. They are not uploaded and not backed up to a Neobile server. Answers are read aloud by the watch’s own voices. You can delete a topic, clear the whole history in the app, or remove everything by deleting the app.

Because there is no account and nothing about you is stored on our servers, Neobile holds no personal data about you that it could look up, export or delete.

Age

AI4Watch is intended for people age 13 and older. It is not directed at children under 13; do not use it to submit information about a child under 13.

Purchases

Purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store. Neobile never receives your payment details; the app receives only the status of the subscription from Apple.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the new version will be posted at this address with a new “Last updated” date.
