ChairRate Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 2026
ChairRate (“the app”, listed as Salon Pricing Calculator) is developed by
Neobile LLC. This policy explains what happens to your data when you use ChairRate.
The short version
ChairRate does not collect your data. There is no account, no
analytics, no advertising, no tracking, and the app makes no network requests. Everything you
enter — income goals, costs, service menu, scenarios, and your business identity —
stays on your device. The only online interaction is Apple’s own App Store purchase
system.
What ChairRate stores, and where
- Your business profile, cost library, service menu, and saved scenarios and
comparisons are stored locally on your device in the app’s private database.
They are never uploaded anywhere.
- Goals and assumptions only: ChairRate never asks for your actual earnings
history, client names, or financial account information.
- Business identity (name and contact line for PDFs) is stored locally and
appears only on documents you generate.
- PDF exports are created only when you ask for one and leave the device only
through the iOS share sheet you choose. Temporary export files use complete file protection and
are removed after sharing.
- Settings (currency, defaults, language) are stored in the standard app
preferences on your device.
Purchases
Optional saved-workflow upgrades are processed entirely by Apple through your Apple Account.
ChairRate receives only Apple’s anonymous entitlement confirmation — never your name,
payment details, or address.
What ChairRate does NOT do
- No account or sign-up of any kind.
- No analytics, crash reporting, or advertising SDKs.
- No ads, and therefore no App Tracking Transparency prompt.
- No camera, location, or contacts access.
- No cloud sync — CloudKit is disabled.
- No market-rate suggestions and no tax, legal, or accounting advice — the app only
computes consequences of the numbers you enter.
Children
ChairRate is a business tool intended for adults and is not directed at children.
Changes
If a future version ever changes how data is handled, this policy and the App Store privacy
label will be updated first, before the change ships.
