Hair Color Bowl Calculator (“the app”) is developed by Neobile LLC. This policy explains what happens to your data when you use the app.

The short version

The app does not collect your data. There is no account, no analytics, no advertising, and no tracking. Everything you enter — client aliases, formulas, weights, percentages, ratios, notes, package costs, and timers — stays on your device. The only online interaction is Apple’s own App Store purchase system.

What the app stores, and where

Client aliases and their latest formula, saved formula history, templates, and product cost profiles are stored locally in the app’s protected files. They are never uploaded anywhere.
Aliases only: the app never asks for a client’s phone number, email, address, birthday, appointment, photo, payment, consent, or health information. There is no place to enter them.
Timers are stored locally. A completion notification’s lock-screen text is generic and contains no client alias, formula, product, or ratio.
PDF and CSV exports and JSON backups are created only when you ask for one and leave the device only through the iOS share sheet you choose. Temporary export files use complete file protection and are removed after sharing.
Settings (language, appearance, scale step, currency, haptics) are stored in the standard app preferences on your device.

Permissions

The app requests one permission, and only when you deliberately start a timer with notifications enabled: permission to show a local completion notification. Denying it never prevents the in-app timer. The app never requests contacts, calendar, location, camera, microphone, photos, Bluetooth, local network, health, or motion access.

Purchases

Optional workflow upgrades are processed entirely by Apple through your Apple Account. The app receives only Apple’s anonymous entitlement confirmation — never your name, payment details, or address. Your saved client formulas remain readable even if an entitlement lapses.

What the app does NOT do

No account or sign-up of any kind.
No analytics, crash reporting, or advertising SDKs, and therefore no App Tracking Transparency prompt.
No cloud sync — CloudKit is disabled.
No brand recipe database, and no color, developer-strength, lightening, processing, or safety recommendation — the app only computes the arithmetic of the numbers you enter.

Children

Hair Color Bowl Calculator is a professional tool intended for adults and is not directed at children.

Changes

If a future version ever changes how data is handled, this policy and the App Store privacy label will be updated first, before the change ships.
